In this poster we are drawn to the three iconic symobols. The first being Daniel Craig (James Bond). The second symbol being the Aston Martin. And lastly, Big Ben. They all portray typical British culture. In this skyfall poster we see Daniel Craig as James Bond sitting comfortably on what appears to be his Aston Martin. He is also holding a gun, however, is not pointing it towards anything. Having the gun connotes that this film is an action. The gun makes him look powerful and in control. The unique selling point I Daniel Craig being the subject focus of the poster. He is an icon and recognisable for being the James bond. Having him on the poster, will make people aware that the poster is about the James bond film, even before reading the title.
The font used looks modern which links with the clothing he is wearing. His suit gives us the impression that he is smart and important. The text on the poster is there to give information about the film Skyfall and it is important that it stands out however, doesn't distract attention from the image. The font is in black and this is a really effective colour as it is bold and stands out looking sophisticated.
